  • I’ve bought a ticket from someone, is this legit?
Hard to say. Please do not buy any tickets through Viagogo and be wary of buying tickets from people directly from any marketplace. If you turn up to the festival with an invalid or already admitted ticket we won’t be able to let you in. You are best to contact our team if you would like a name change.
  • How do I pay for things at the festival?
This year we are using the contact-less EFTPOS system for purchasing at the festival - this should mean quicker bars and food lines for everyone! Please don’t bring cash as this will slow everyone's experience down and you might struggle to be served at some bars + market vendors.
  • Water / Non-alcoholic drinks
There is free water available on site & a range of delicious non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase. We highly encourage bringing empty reusable water bottles onsite. These are long days in the heat of summer, pace yourself. Hydration is the key.
  • What’s included in a GA ticket?

  • How do I get my wristband?
As you enter the festival you will have your ticket scanned, and be given your wristband at the Main Gate. This is your pass and ‘access key’ for the day/night. If people are caught sneaking into the event and trespassing, there will be repercussions and the perpetrators will be banned from future Nest Fest/BirdsNest events. If you aren’t wearing the correct one, you’re not permitted to be there and will be told to leave.
  • Food & Drink.
We’ve teamed up with some of our favorite food suppliers from the Hawkes Bay and surrounding region to keep your stomachs happy across the weekend. Nest Fest 2024 has expanded Nest Fest into 2 days meaning we have opened up camping for our out of town fans to help enjoy the festival experience without breaking the bank. • Can I park my car at the festival?
Yes! We have parking on site this year which is great - please be aware though that we do not encourage driving after the festival nor drink driving whatsoever - There will be police at the festival before and after monitoring this, so please be safe. To be safe - we strongly suggest booking a bus ticket so you can safely get to & from the festival.
